HIVOLT station post composite insulators using advanced product design, high quality materials, and strictly quality controlment in our post insulators. Our end fitting sealing system
employs O-rings plus an RTV sealant . which have excellent protection against moisture penetration.
The housing material is HTV silicone rubber, which provides excellent
contamination performance. This housing is formed by injection
molding silicone rubber onto the core as one continuous part free of
any joints. Both housing and core are chemically bonded together
during the vulcanization process.
The strength of this bond is greater
than the tearing strength of the silicone housing material itself. End
fittings are then assembled by a pressure controlled, multi-step,
crimping process. Overall length and hole alignment are controlled strictly
by manufacturing process.
What kind of raw materials we are using ?
1 Metal flange the flange use high density forged steel,every pieces test qualified after magnetic powder inspection . Flange surface covered a layer of even zinc coating, which thickness exceed related interational strandard requirements.
2 Insulator shed made of silicone rubber , insulator core are made of high strength fiber glass
4 silicone sealant we use a layer of silicone sealant cover the connection aread between metal fittings and fiber glass core, just to protect insulator have a stable performance for longer life ,
both high quality raw material and very strictly controled manufacturing procedure contribute into excellent
quality final product .
Applications:
Suitable for substations and electrical switches from 25kV up to 66KV etc. The insulator can be used as vertical or inverted . The function is insulation and mechanical support .
