HIVOLT ceramic disc insulators use below materials for parts :
1 the insulator cap are high density ductile iron ,we test each pieces with magnetic powder inspection method . all the insulator pins made of forged steel with diameter 32mm .
metal fittings surface hop-dip galvanized , coating thickness meet IEC60383 standard.
2 ceramic shell are made of high aluminum porcelain C130 . the porcelain surface covered a layer of shinning glaze , color can be grey , brown or white , it depends on customer's requirement.
3 we tested every unit of insulators by routine test , it including :
a) routine tension load strength test , which will apply 50% of rate mechanical strength
withstand 1 minutes .
b) routine flashover test , will check every piece of insulators with high voltage flashover,
to sort defect unit out.
4 we will test each batch of insulators by sample test , which including :
insulator visual check ,overall dimensional check , temperature cycle test , mechanical and electrical failing load test , puncture test , metal fitting zinc thickness thickness test etc.
